Position Overview

The Invoicing Officer will be responsible for supporting the billing department by ensuring invoices are processed accurately and delivered on schedule. This role requires close coordination with the Head of Billing and internal departments to maintain financial precision, contribute to month-end procedures, and enhance billing workflows, all while providing exemplary service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and verify client invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy and completeness before distribution to clients and internal teams.
  • Oversee billing tasks including correct allocation of recoverable expenses, accurate payment recording, and efficient generation and dissemination of invoices.
  • Monitor and analyze staff timesheets, produce exception reports, and assist teams in maintaining accurate timekeeping.
  • Assist in reporting efforts and managing receivables by generating billing recovery reports, facilitating debtor follow-up, and supporting month-end financial reporting.
  • Serve as a primary contact for billing-related inquiries, collaborate with operational teams, encourage adherence to best practices, and contribute to process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and shortening billing cycles.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in invoicing, billing administration, or accounting, with confidence handling financial data and processes.
  • Understanding of foundational accounting principles; exposure to financial services or fund management environments is advantageous.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail-focused with the ability to manage workloads effectively during peak times.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with billing and reporting software tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, strong teamwork capability, and the ability to resolve queries and promote best practices.
