Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Investigative Analyst is tasked with conducting comprehensive analyses and investigative research, including public record examination. This role involves executing all-source research, compiling relevant data, identifying intelligence gaps, preparing documentation, and fulfilling investigative and reporting duties.

• Collect intelligence via fieldwork, confidential sources, and public documentation.
• Build and sustain professional relations with governmental bodies providing public data.
• Aggregate, analyze, and assess investigative and research findings.
• Detect warning signs such as court litigation, politically exposed individuals, sanctions, adverse media mentions, inflated job roles, inconsistent employment periods, forged credentials, among others.
• Produce clear, well-organized, objective reports assessing the status, legitimacy, background, and reputation of companies and their principals or individuals under review.
• Oversee multiple projects involving due diligence, background checks, and insurance claim investigations through to conclusion.
• Monitor progress ensuring cases are completed promptly.
• Deliver precise, high-quality written documentation.
• Execute necessary follow-ups with external parties.
• Support document management related to analyses performed.
• Coordinate with international colleagues and vendors to accomplish required work scopes.
• Exercise sound judgment, uphold professional integrity, and align with the organization’s mission.
• Adhere to current and forthcoming ISO guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as required by company needs.

Qualifications and Essential Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Journalism, Law, International Relations/Affairs, or comparable disciplines.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of pertinent experience preferred.
• Background in due diligence, research, legal, investigations, or risk management highly regarded.
• Additional certifications relevant to the role may enhance candidacy.
• Eligibility to access courts and police authorities for research purposes is mandatory.
• Willingness to undergo company pre-employment checks including drug screening and background investigation.
• Proficiency in English language, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• Strong report-writing capabilities.
