Inventory Team Member (Part-Time)

Role Overview

If you have a keen interest in managing inventory with precise accuracy, this position within our active Inventory Department could be ideal. Mitre 10 MEGA Queenstown is seeking an Inventory Team Member to join the team starting in September.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain precise on-hand stock levels by performing regular, systematic stock counts year-round.
• Carry out weekly GAP scans to ensure the store remains well-stocked and attractively merchandised.
• Investigate and analyze any stock discrepancies to keep the stock records accurate and safeguard store profitability.

Additional Duties and Skills

• Utilize computerized inventory systems effectively for stock control activities.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and maintain a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
• Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with colleagues and customers.
• Be physically capable of performing the role’s demands, including extended standing, walking, lifting items, and climbing ladders.
