Role Overview

The Inventory Systems Analyst (ISA) plays a vital role linking product strategy with operational execution, acting as an adept user and coordinator of ERP, inventory, and data systems. This role collaborates extensively with product management, sales, marketing, supply chain, and other stakeholders to maintain consistent product data integrity, drive new product introductions, manage product lifecycles, and support company priorities. Additionally, the ISA is responsible for overseeing the efficiency of the ERP Warehouse Management System (WMS), coordinating information flow between Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management, and suppliers to collect and consolidate data for new product launches.
Ensure accuracy and maintenance of item master and product data within the ERP system.
Perform inventory and demand data analysis to aid in product lifecycle decisions.
Generate and distribute inventory obsolescence reports as directed by the Senior Supply Chain Manager.
Conduct data analysis and market research to provide actionable insights supporting product development, strategy, and decision-making.
Work cross-functionally to optimize inventory-related processes and workflows.
Maintain and utilize ERP data for efficient management of item masters.
Diagnose and troubleshoot ERP system issues, supplying technical support to inventory control personnel.
Contribute to system upgrades and implementation projects.
Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment.
Adhere to company policies relevant to inventory control and maintain safety and organization standards within the workplace.
Manage customer experience regarding ERP processing with vendors, including internal management of customer order flows and resolutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related discipline preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory control with demonstrated success.
Keen eye for detail and commitment to precise data management.
Solid understanding of inventory control best practices and principles.
Experience and proficiency with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
Ability to operate both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
