Inventory Executive

Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Executive with proven experience in UAE inventory management to join our team based in Satwa, Dubai. This role emphasizes maintaining stock integrity, coordinating inventory activities, and ensuring compliance with operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure real-time inventory accuracy in ERP/WMS systems by resolving discrepancies between system data and physical counts.
• Organize and conduct cycle counts and periodic full physical inventories, providing detailed variance reports along with root cause analyses.
• Monitor stock levels relative to reorder points, preemptively identifying risks of stockouts or overstock situations.
• Track product batch numbers and expiration dates where applicable to maintain product quality and rotation.
• Manage and reconcile goods receipt and dispatch documentation against purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and shipping documents.
• Evaluate slow-moving and obsolete stock and propose appropriate actions such as markdowns, returns, or write-offs with supporting financial justification.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, finance, and warehouse teams to align demand planning and inventory valuation efforts.
• Maintain accurate product master data including SKUs, units of measure, weights, dimensions, costs, and HS codes where required.
• Generate inventory performance reports covering metrics such as accuracy, turnover, days-on-hand, shrinkage, fill rate, and stock ageing.
• Implement proper inventory storage methods, ensuring FIFO/FEFO processes are followed and warehouse is well-organized.
• Monitor inbound and outbound stock movements with timely system updates.
• Process inventory adjustments, stock transfers, returns, damaged goods handling, and conduct investigations on stock discrepancies.
• Maintain comprehensive inventory documentation complying with company SOPs.
• Work closely with logistics partners to manage receiving, dispatch, customs documentation, and shipment reconciliation.
• Identify and propose process improvements aimed at enhancing inventory accuracy and warehouse operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related discipline.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant UAE experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain roles.
• Strong grasp of warehouse operations and inventory control principles.
• Practical experience using ERP/WMS platforms like SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Zoho Inventory, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FIFO/FEFO methods, stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and warehouse best practices.
• Familiarity with UAE import/export documentation and logistics processes related to inventory preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and reporting proficiency.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic setting.
