Job Overview
The Inventory Controller is responsible for managing the entire inventory process, ensuring precise stock tracking and timely restocking to satisfy business demands. This role involves submitting and monitoring VOR orders from suppliers and ensuring proper handling upon arrival.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor accurate records of all inventory activities including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
- Ensure inventory is replenished according to sales trends and demand forecasts promptly.
- Analyze inventory information to detect patterns, enhance stock levels, and minimize surplus or outdated stock.
- Prepare and deliver inventory performance reports to leadership, emphasizing turnover rates, stock quantities, and discrepancies.
- Guarantee adherence to company policies and regulatory standards concerning inventory management.
- Support the development and implementation of inventory management tools and software systems.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to secure timely delivery and address quality or availability concerns.
