Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics, English, or Science based on the Cambridge curriculum, targeting students aged 5 to 14 years by utilizing deep subject knowledge.
• Manage homeroom classes by building strong, supportive relationships with students and parents to encourage a collaborative and nurturing learning environment.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement within the assigned subjects to guide teaching strategies and enhance educational results.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with parents and school stakeholders to provide updates on student growth and address academic requirements or concerns.

Required Competencies and Certifications

• Holding a valid First Aid Certificate to ensure student safety and readiness to handle emergencies.
• Possession of a Registered Teacher Qualification like QTS or an equivalent credential that meets professional teaching standards.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in education providing foundational expertise in teaching methods and child development; a diploma alone is insufficient.
• A minimum of two years' experience as a Homeroom Teacher within an international school environment to effectively deliver curriculum and manage classroom dynamics.
• Ideally, five or more years of prior experience working in international schools to positively influence school culture and student achievement.
