Internal Audit Supervisor

Role Overview

TWYFORD INTERNATIONAL is seeking an Internal Audit Supervisor to support audit leadership across its operations in Tanzania. The position is centered on anti-fraud work, special investigations, and internal audit support for the factory and branch network.

Core Duties

The selected candidate will work closely with the Audit Manager and assist in audit assignments related to procurement, sales, and operational controls. This role also involves investigating suspicious pricing and transaction patterns, including market checks for purchasing costs and product sales values.

Responsibilities extend to reviewing matters involving employees, customers, and suppliers, as well as handling special audit assignments and internal audit activities. The role may also include investigations into corruption-related issues, theft cases, and similar irregularities.

Requirements

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or a related finance discipline. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in anti-fraud investigation, special audits, or internal audit work is mandatory.

The role is intended for a professional based in Chalinze or Mkuranga, with a willingness to remain stationed at the factory and travel occasionally to other branches as needed.

Strong English communication is expected, as English is used as the official working language. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable using computers, conducting interviews, independently analysing expenses, and identifying issues proactively while maintaining a calm and steady manner.

Additional Information

Relevant investigative experience in procurement and sales corruption matters, theft investigations, and similar cases will be highly valued.

Cost analysis work may include travel expenses, administrative procurement costs, and temporary staff expenses.

The position is full-time and based onsite.
