About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer with over three years of professional experience to join our Adelaide-based studio. This position suits a designer eager to grow and refine their expertise within a supportive and experienced team environment.

The role involves working on a wide variety of projects across multiple sectors, contributing throughout design development, documentation, and construction stages. You will be expected to balance client expectations, practical requirements, commercial factors, and design objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of distinctive, functional interiors.
• Participate actively from design development stage through construction delivery.
• Prepare comprehensive, accurate documentation packages including schedules and specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, consultancies, and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Assist with Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) selections and documentation.
• Contribute to construction phase tasks and contract administration activities.
• Maintain strong focus on design standards, technical accuracy, and meticulous detail orientation.
• Take ownership of assigned work and positively influence project progress and company culture.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience working in architecture or interior design studios.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or an equivalent qualification.
• Skilled in Revit and AutoCAD with proven documentation competencies.
• Experience creating and managing FF&E packages and schedules.
• Demonstrated involvement in projects from design concept to construction completion.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a collaborative and proactive approach.
• Capable of managing daily project tasks independently.
• Familiarity with the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Exposure to contract administration and construction phase project delivery is preferred.
