About the Role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for an Incident Manager in Bengaluru to oversee client-facing incident handling and help keep service disruptions under control. In this role, you will work at the center of critical issue management, coordinating updates, prioritization, escalation, and closure while ensuring stakeholders stay informed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients during incidents and share timely progress updates along with concise executive-level summaries.
  • Review, categorize, and follow SAP incidents so that ownership and priority are assigned correctly.
  • Keep SLA commitments on track and manage escalations to support fast resolution in demanding situations.
  • Coordinate incident advancement through to closure while aligning expectations across stakeholders.
  • Carry out root cause analysis, document findings, and push corrective actions to prevent repeat issues.

Required Profile

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle client conversations and executive reporting.
  • Practical exposure to incident triage, tracking, and priority control, especially for SAP ticket environments.
  • Good understanding of service management practices, SLA governance, and escalation handling.
  • Ability to perform RCA and explain technical and operational findings clearly.
