About the Program and Company
TechBuzz Hub is a shared workspace and support platform built to help founders and innovators transform ideas into viable businesses. It was created to address the high rate at which startups fail in Uganda and across Africa by offering an environment where new ventures can develop and scale. The program also invites participants to a Startup Funding Vehicles session focused on how inventors and investors can collaborate to finance and grow meaningful startups, while connecting with a community that supports bold ideas.
Under TechBuzz Hub, the Graduate Professionals Apprenticeship Program (GPAP) is designed to give students, graduates, and professionals looking to change careers the equivalent of 2 years of experience in just 3 months. Participants begin earning before the program ends, and those who remain committed have an 80% chance of job placement afterward. GPAP is highly selective, with only 5 participants accepted in each monthly cohort.
