About the Role
An early-stage legal tech AI company is looking for an HR Operations Executive to help create a well-organized, scalable employee experience. The position is central to building reliable onboarding, clean documentation, smooth HR workflows, and strong compliance practices as the business grows. The work will have a direct effect on employee efficiency, engagement, and the company’s overall momentum.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete onboarding and exit process for employees.
- Keep employee records, HR files, and compliance documents updated and accurate.
- Prepare offer letters, employment agreements, background verification paperwork, and joining-related documents.
- Work with payroll, finance, and cross-functional teams on HR activities.
- Administer the HRMS and employee database, with Zoho People and related Zoho tools preferred.
- Monitor attendance, leave records, and employee lifecycle actions.
- Assist with recruitment coordination, interview planning, and communication with candidates.
- Protect the accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
- Support HR policy rollout, process improvements, and employee engagement efforts.
- Create HR MIS reports and maintain dashboards.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in HR operations or employee lifecycle management.
- Practical experience using Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, or other Zoho products.
- Solid understanding of onboarding, HR documentation, compliance, and daily HR operations.
- Strong organization and communication abilities.
- Comfort with MS Excel, Word, and Google Workspace tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving startup setting.
- Prior exposure to a technology, SaaS, AI, or legal tech environment is a plus.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
- Male candidates are preferred.

This role is based in Mumbai, India and is intended for a full-time onsite hire. The position is with The Peoplemosaic Hr Services.
Compensation is listed at INR 6,00,000 to 7,00,000 per year.
