Role Description
We are looking for a professional, organised Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. Collaborating closely with the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and Executive Housekeeper, you will ensure the hotel maintains outstanding cleanliness and consistently delivers high-quality guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist the housekeeping team with daily operational tasks.
- Perform room inspections to uphold brand and cleanliness standards.
- Promptly handle guest requests and special requirements.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or malfunctioning equipment, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Foster a positive and productive working environment within the team.
- Adhere to safe work practices and comply with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hotel operations, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with confident communication ability.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Professional appearance with a commitment to outstanding guest service.
- Physically capable of performing manual tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and navigating stairs.
- Must have full working rights in Australia; sponsorship is not available for this position.
