Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team at The Meriden Hospital in Coventry, part of Circle Health Group, the UK's leading independent healthcare provider. This position offers a full-time, permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern.
Key Duties
- Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, public areas, and employee spaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff members.
- Restock linens and consumable supplies as needed.
- Demonstrate adaptability by working across various departments, including Theatre areas, and at other Circle Health Group locations when requested.
- Complete and submit daily task checklists to the Housekeeper Lead for audit purposes.
- Adhere to all mandatory training and safety protocols.
Candidate Requirements
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills, evidenced by Maths and English GCSE grades A to C or equivalent Level 2 functional skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Competence in using computers, including software applications and systems relevant to the role.
