Role overview

As a Home Delivery Driver, you’ll represent the company at the customer’s doorstep, dropping off shopping orders while delivering a high standard of service. The role is customer-facing and relies on strong people skills, reliability, and a positive approach to busy, changing days on the road.

What you’ll do

• Deliver customer shopping orders directly to homes in a timely and professional manner.
• Act as a visible representative of the business and maintain excellent customer service throughout each delivery.
• Support the wider store team when needed, including helping on the checkout or replenishing stock.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to smooth day-to-day store operations.
• Handle a varied and sometimes demanding workload while keeping customers’ needs at the centre of the role.

What we’re looking for

You should be a proactive self-starter who enjoys being on the move, can manage a busy schedule, and is comfortable dealing with a wide range of customers. Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent service are essential.

Training and support

You’ll be supported with training across all parts of the operation so you can build confidence and perform to a high standard in the role.

Pay and benefits

The hourly pay for this position is £14.71. Benefits include a 15% staff discount, optional health care plan, Grocery Aid support, Christmas vouchers, and a minimum of 28 days’ holiday.

Licence and driving requirements

Applicants must hold a valid driving licence that has been in place for at least 3 years and have no more than 6 points on it.

Working hours

Shifts may begin as early as 6:00am and can run until 11:00pm.
