Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Home Delivery Drivers to join our team at one of the leading companies known for valuing both customers and employees. This position involves driving a van to deliver shopping items to customers, acting as the company's representative while ensuring excellent service and product care.

Key Responsibilities

• Load delivery vans safely, adhering to proper manual handling and heavy lifting techniques.
• Follow all safe driving practices consistently.
• Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy.
• Ensure that food products are delivered in optimal condition.
• Offer outstanding customer service through direct interaction with clients.
• Assist with in-store duties as necessary.
• Manage your tasks independently and efficiently within the assigned schedules.
• Be flexible with working hours, which can vary between 6 AM and 11 PM.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Possess a full driving license held for a minimum of three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Exhibit a friendly, positive attitude and a strong passion for customer service.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines effectively.
• Maintain a heightened awareness of road safety regulations and practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of £13.71.
