Head of Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Head of Operations to direct and enhance the operational activities of our organization. This senior leadership position is tasked with crafting and implementing strategies that propel business growth while optimizing processes and ensuring organizational efficiency.

Key Duties

• Formulate and implement operational strategies consistent with the company's goals and expansion plans.
• Supervise daily business activities to maximize efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Establish, refine, and maintain operational workflows, processes, and performance benchmarks.
• Track critical operational metrics and KPIs, delivering actionable insights to senior management.
• Lead initiatives focused on operational excellence, including automation, cost reduction, and process optimization.
• Coordinate with departmental leaders to ensure operational efforts align with business objectives and meet client needs.
• Oversee resource allocation, workforce planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Assess operational risks and apply strategies to mitigate them, safeguarding business continuity.
• Drive organizational change, continuous improvement efforts, and transformation projects.
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, quality controls, and operational procedures.
• Mentor and develop management and operational teams to nurture accountability and performance.
• Support strategic planning, expansion projects, and identification of new business prospects.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and operational updates for executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated expertise in operations management, supply chain, logistics, or comparable leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of operational strategy, process enhancements, and performance management.
• Experience managing diverse teams across large-scale operations.
• Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving aptitude, and decisive judgment.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and evaluating performance metrics.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, data analytics platforms, and operational reporting tools.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-moving, and growth-focused environment.
• Solid commercial insight and strategic business understanding.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related disciplines; an MBA or relevant leadership certifications are highly regarded.
