Role Overview
As Head of Creative, you will lead AIOS's creative vision and execution, driving performance marketing at scale with a $1M+ monthly spend on Meta platforms and rapidly growing Google campaigns. Your leadership will close the emotional resonance and visual quality gap in ads, enhancing customer acquisition efficiency.
You will manage and elevate an in-house creative team, develop creative localization strategies for European markets including Germany and the Netherlands, and expand creative efforts to emerging channels like TV and other social networks.
Your mandate includes building an AI-powered creative production system that generates 300+ unique concepts per sprint, tightly linking creative output with performance data to optimize media buying strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and execute the overarching creative strategy centered on data-driven performance for Meta campaigns.
- Elevate creative standards to achieve emotional connection and high visual aesthetic, reducing customer acquisition costs.
- Develop and implement a localization playbook tailored for multiple European markets with cultural and platform nuances.
- Maintain a robust, innovative ideation pipeline ensuring each concept is uniquely distinguished within Meta's algorithm.
- Enhance AI-assisted creative tools and workflows to optimize production and feedback loops.
- Lead visual brand refresh initiatives for Bolt Pharmacy, ensuring consistent brand expression across all touchpoints.
- Drive aggressive testing and scaling of creative hooks, formats, messaging, and new media channels including CTV and linear TV.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Performance and media buying teams to connect creative performance directly to business metrics.
- Manage and nurture the creative team, shifting focus from execution to creative excellence and operational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 5 years leading performance creative for DTC brands managing high ad spends (≥£500k/month on Meta).
- Strong creative capability to generate concepts, deliver clear briefs, and lead teams to elevate creative quality.
- Keen emotional insight to craft compelling ads that resonate deeply with audiences.
- Exceptional visual sensibility ensuring top-tier aesthetic quality without compromising performance.
- Experience managing and developing creative teams to exceed previous levels of talent and output.
- Expertise in designing repeatable creative systems for scalable ideation, briefing, and production.
- Advanced proficiency interpreting creative performance data to guide iterative improvements.
- Proven effectiveness in leveraging AI tools to enhance creative productivity while preserving craftsmanship.
- Strong operational discipline with consistent forecasting, reporting, explicit decision-making, and documentation.
- Capacity to thrive in a high-intensity, startup environment requiring 50+ hour weeks and asynchronous work culture.

- Led brand refresh or identity evolution projects.
- Directed multi-market creative efforts within Europe, notably Germany and the Netherlands.

- Experience in broadcast and long-form video content including CTV and DR TV.
- Cross-platform paid social creative expertise beyond Meta, e.g., TikTok, Snap.
- Collaborated closely with CRO or product teams on seamless transitions from ads to landing pages.
