About the Role
The GTM Engineer is responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining the entire architecture of Quisitive's marketing execution platform. This includes overseeing the platforms, integration mechanisms, automated workflows, and data modeling that translate go-to-market strategies into efficient, repeatable processes. The role demands technical expertise beyond standard marketing platform configurations, requiring the integration of various systems using APIs, custom connectors, and webhook methods. Additionally, the engineer will develop AI-assisted workflows using low-code tools to enhance marketing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the marketing technology stack comprising Dynamics 365 Marketing, ClickDimensions, ZoomInfo Marketing, GTM Studio, RingCentral, Power BI, Power Automate, Zapier, and other related applications.
- Bridge gaps between non-natively integrated systems through the use of API connections, custom connectors, and webhook-driven integrations.
- Lead the implementation and enhancement of new platforms including migrations like ZoomInfo Marketing and GTM Studio.
- Investigate and recommend new marketing tools that scale effectively with increasing volume and complexity.
- Develop end-to-end workflow automations to boost lead generation across the funnel, utilizing tools such as Power Automate.
- Create AI-enabled agents with low-code solutions like Copilot Studio for tasks including personalization, enrichment, lead routing, and automating Business Development Representative (BDR) activities.
- Coordinate marketing processes within ZoomInfo Marketing and integrate them into the broader data and automation ecosystem.
- Construct additional automations via platforms like Power Automate, Power Apps, and Zapier, selecting optimal tools depending on specific needs.
- Develop reusable frameworks for campaigns and customer journeys to minimize manual efforts and repetitive setup.
- Evaluate scalability of existing automations, identifying weak points maintained by temporary fixes rather than durable solutions.
- Explore opportunities to leverage both internal and external data sources to enhance lead generation quality and quantity.
- Design and maintain lead scoring models within Dynamics 365 Marketing, ClickDimensions, and CRM, including trigger-based lifecycle progressions.
- Formulate segmentation strategies encompassing persona, account-based, and lifecycle segmentation, collaborating closely with marketing operations specialists.
- Implement trigger logics for nurturing progression, routing, and notification alerts.
- Work jointly with IT teams to adjust CRM setups supporting complex buyer group segmentations and account/contact alert systems.
- Establish and maintain analytics infrastructure for pipeline tracking and reporting.
- Oversee marketing attribution tracking and validation to ensure data accuracy and transparency.
- Provide performance insights and optimization recommendations to campaign leadership.
- Identify and deploy AI-driven enhancements across personalization, scoring, automation, and reporting.
- Develop AI implementation best practices and guidelines for the marketing team to follow.
- Drive continuous improvement in automation sophistication and operational efficiency across marketing workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in marketing operations or Revenue Operations with a focus on systems architecture and automation beyond basic execution.
- Proven expertise in building workflow automations using Power Automate or equivalent platforms, including custom connectors and webhook integrations between otherwise incompatible systems.
- Experience integrating systems through APIs and crafting custom solutions to bridge functionality gaps.
- Ability to create AI-powered agents with low-code platforms like Copilot Studio, and coordinate automated workflows across multiple marketing and automation tools.
- Strong background in architecting effective B2B lead scoring, segmentation frameworks, and lifecycle-triggered workflows.
- Highly analytical and systems-oriented mindset, skilled at questioning existing processes and predicting failures at scale.
- Experience managing CRM and marketing automation system integrations as well as platform migrations.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on knowledge of Dynamics 365 Marketing components, including Customer Insights and Journey Builder, as well as Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Familiarity with Power BI or related business intelligence tools for reporting and data visualization.
- Exposure to account-based marketing software such as 6Sense or ZoomInfo Marketing.
- Track record of leading platform migrations or consolidations in marketing technology stacks.
- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Power Platform products and similar workflow automation tools like Zapier.
Not Required
- Programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL, or Clay scripting are not necessary as this role focuses on integration and workflow design rather than software development or data engineering.
Success Metrics
- Increase in automation maturity measured by the proportion of campaigns utilizing automated triggers and AI agents rather than manual configuration.
- Growth in pipeline contributions arising from automated marketing programs.
- Number of systems successfully integrated through API and workflow automation and the associated business impact.
- Accuracy and reliability of marketing attribution and reporting systems.
- Reduction in manual operations through enhanced automation across marketing processes.
