Role Overview
The GSCC Manager leads the coordination and execution of security threat analysis, risk assessments, and security operations management. This position involves developing and overseeing processes for global security assessments and specialized products to advise senior leadership and internal clients. The role requires acting as a liaison between the Global Security Command Centre (GSCC), location security leads, crisis management units, and external stakeholders, focusing on security threat analysis and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody and promote Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Develop, manage, and refine processes related to global security threat analysis and assessment products.
- Support the Geopolitical, Security Risks and Analysis head by analyzing security threats, including geopolitical conflicts, regional unrest, organized crime, and terrorism related risks that impact global business operations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between GSCC and various internal and external security stakeholders to ensure coordinated security efforts.
- Manage crisis situations affecting employee safety across global locations, providing expert advice and decision-making during security escalations.
- Perform any additional duties as required to support security operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least 7 to 8 years of proven experience in geopolitical analysis, crisis management, and security or intelligence operations within military, government, think tanks, management consulting, or private sectors.
- Experience working in Global or Regional Security Command Centres within multinational organizations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including managing and leading teams remotely.
- Substantial academic or professional background in geopolitical and security analysis.
Working Environment
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Routine computer usage required.
- Involves occasional physical tasks such as reaching, lifting small objects, and operating office equipment.
- Frequent periods of sitting, standing, or walking.
- Travel as necessary.
