Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled paid advertising expert to lead and expand our ad campaigns on Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms. This role includes full responsibility for campaign strategy, execution, optimization, testing, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities, ecommerce customer acquisition expertise, and a history of scaling profitable campaigns efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance performance of campaigns on Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Create campaigns targeting prospecting, retargeting, product launches, promotions, and ongoing sales.
- Manage specific campaign types such as Google Shopping, Performance Max, Search, Display, YouTube, as well as Facebook and Instagram Meta campaigns.
- Strategize campaign structures, audience targeting, budget allocation, and bidding methods.
- Track critical performance indicators including ROAS, MER, CAC, CPA, and conversion rates.
- Identify opportunities to increase advertising spend without compromising profitability.
- Collaborate with designers and content teams to plan and execute creative tests.
- Experiment with different audiences, offers, landing pages, ad formats, copywriting, and creative ideas.
- Analyze data derived from Meta, Google, Shopify, and other analytics tools to assess attribution.
- Resolve issues related to tracking, product catalogs, feeds, and campaign delivery.
- Keep updated with changes in advertising platforms and best paid media practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing Google and Meta advertising campaigns for ecommerce companies.
- Proven success in scaling campaigns profitably.
- Hands-on experience handling substantial monthly advertising budgets.
- Advanced proficiency with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads platforms.
- Experience using Google Merchant Center and managing product feed data.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce funnels on Shopify.
- Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and the Conversions API.
- Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient written English communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running advertising for physical consumer products internationally.
- Knowledge of additional advertising platforms such as Bing, Pinterest, and 360.
- Experience managing campaigns in markets including the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
- Skills in landing page optimization and conversion rate testing.
- Understanding of email marketing impacts on overall campaign performance.
- Basic skills in copywriting or creative strategy development.
- Experience advertising products on both Shopify and Amazon marketplaces.
Success Metrics
- Achieving profitable growth in paid advertising revenue.
- Improving key metrics such as ROAS, MER, and customer acquisition costs.
- Consistent experimentation with new audiences, creative assets, offers, and campaign configurations.
- Providing transparent, insightful reports outlining successes, failures, and next steps.
- Effective collaboration with creative and ecommerce teams.
