General Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Join Haven as a General Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of park facilities to provide guests with an excellent and trouble-free stay. This role requires a hands-on problem solver skilled in various maintenance areas who can perform inspections and repairs throughout the park.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on park amenities covering plumbing, carpentry, and general repair tasks.
• Identify and address minor defects promptly, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform regular safety and performance checks on essential equipment and facilities to maintain a secure environment.
• Respond professionally to maintenance requests from guests, property owners, and team members.
• Collaborate closely with the broader maintenance team to deliver consistent and high-quality services across the park.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in general maintenance involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, or related trades; certification in a relevant trade is advantageous.
• Prior exposure to maintenance work in holiday home environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a compliant workplace environment.
• Preference for candidates holding a full UK driving license.

Additional Information

The position offers flexible employment types including full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles. Pay rates may reach up to £12.71 per hour depending on age.
