Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and driven individuals to join our production team in London, Ontario, to support the manufacturing of high-quality poultry products while adhering to strict food safety and quality protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in various roles along the production line to manufacture superior poultry products, complying with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
- Conduct quality control and verify product specifications regularly.
- Operate and manage production machinery, including adjusting settings, monitoring equipment performance, and reporting any malfunctions.
- Perform tasks such as trimming, tray packing in front and back debone areas, machine loading, product sorting, and bulk packaging.
- Complete additional duties as assigned daily and work overtime when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.
- Support packaging and labeling processes.
Work Schedule
Shifts run Monday to Friday from 4:20 pm to 12:50 am, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. Shift schedules may be subject to alteration.
Qualifications
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
- Physical ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially regarding safety.
- Experience in manufacturing or food production is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Reliable means of transportation to the London, ON site.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in Canada with supporting documentation.
Compensation
The position offers an hourly wage of $23.89, with potential additional non-discretionary pay depending on the shift.
