General Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a committed General Assistant to join our team in Tunbridge Wells, operating Monday to Friday for 40 hours weekly. This role offers an annual salary up to A328,186, inclusive of numerous employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Support the Catering Supervisor and Chef Manager in all facets of food service operations, such as processing payments for meals and beverages.
• Provide outstanding service to regular office clients, cultivating strong relationships and ensuring daily satisfaction.
• Maintain stringent attention to detail and adhere to high health and safety standards in managing food according to the Food Safety & Quality management system requirements.
• Apply politeness, enthusiasm, and a positive, proactive attitude to the workplace.
• Undertake training to acquire skills in preparing quality barista-style beverages.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of health and safety principles.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a flexible and positive approach to work.
• Enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment and contributes to collective success.
• Excellent organizational capability and attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Barista skills are viewed favorably but not mandatory.
• Willingness to complete a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of recruitment.
