Role Overview

We are expanding our Technology Department and seeking a committed Frontend Developer specialized in React and TypeScript. Your primary role will be building and sustaining modern frontend functionalities across Cardmarket’s suite of web applications. You will craft responsive, intuitive user interfaces leveraging React with TypeScript, collaborate closely with teammates to enhance existing features, and develop scalable, maintainable solutions that elevate user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in the full lifecycle development of Cardmarket’s web applications
• Conceptualize and deliver new modules and features
• Develop React and TypeScript components maintaining code quality and performance
• Maintain and refine current functionalities to boost reliability and user satisfaction
• Create responsive interfaces adhering to UX/UI best practices
• Participate in team process improvements through regular retrospectives

Candidate Profile

• Educational background or equivalent experience in software development, programming, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience building web apps with React and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of modern React paradigms including hooks, component architecture, state management, and performance optimization
• Bonus: Experience working with PHP-based applications
• Strong grasp of application architecture and clean, maintainable frontend code bases
• Familiarity with contemporary build tools like Vite or equivalent
• Experience using version control platforms such as GitLab
• Additional advantages include knowledge of Bootstrap, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and testing methodologies
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• A passion for web technologies and eagerness to engage with cutting-edge digital solutions
• Capability to work both independently with precision and collaboratively within an agile team, showing problem-solving aptitude
• Creative mindset, adaptability, and quick decision-making skills; Scrum experience is an asset
• Residency in Berlin with a valid work permit for Germany is mandatory
