Role Overview
The Food and Beverage Steward position is a full-time, onsite role based in Goa. The steward will play a vital part in supporting day-to-day food and beverage operations, including preparing and clearing dining areas, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, and assisting with the presentation and service of vegetarian Indian thalis and other food items. This role involves close collaboration with servers, kitchen staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth service delivery, well-stocked supplies, and a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Properly managing tableware and equipment handling
- Maintaining safety and sanitation standards throughout service
- Responding politely and professionally to guest requests
- Participating in training sessions to stay updated on procedures

Candidate Qualifications and Skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities for professional guest and team interactions
- Knowledge and skills in food and beverage service, particularly hygiene and service standards
- Ability to quickly learn and comply with procedural training from supervisors
- Attention to detail, dependability, and capacity to work efficiently in a high-paced guest service environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety rules and hotel service protocols; previous hospitality or restaurant experience is beneficial
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays with a collaborative team approach
