Job Overview
ServiceMaster Clean is currently seeking a full-time Floor Technician based in Moncton, New Brunswick. The starting pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. Applicants must hold a clean driving record and successfully pass a criminal background check. The position primarily involves evening shifts starting after 4:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform floor maintenance tasks including stripping and waxing, scrubbing and waxing, burnishing, and spray buffing.
- Maintain various flooring types such as ceramic, vinyl, laminate, marmoleum, and granite.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and upholstery care.
- Operate cleaning machinery including roto machines, auto scrubbers, burnishers, and carpet extractors.
- Conduct commercial property cleaning duties as needed, such as sweeping, mopping, floor washing, dusting furniture, disinfecting and polishing kitchen fixtures and appliances, cleaning bathrooms and fixtures, and disinfecting elevators.
- Manage lost and found items, provide facility information, handle complaints, pick up debris, empty trash receptacles, and clean windows, walls, and ceilings.
- Execute special cleaning projects as assigned by customers.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, policies, and regulations.
