Financial Planning Analyst

Position Overview

Located in Dubai, the Financial Planning Analyst will report to the FP&A Manager for the AME region and supports comprehensive financial planning and analysis activities throughout Middle East and Africa. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and regional finance teams to provide insight-driven analysis facilitating strategic business decisions and performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis functions including consolidation and interpretation of financial results, offering management actionable recommendations for enhancements.
• Provide detailed variance reports comparing actuals to budget and analyze causes for differences.
• Manage and coordinate the preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Support business partnerships by conducting benchmarking studies to identify improvement opportunities and operational bottlenecks.
• Advocate cost efficiency across company operations and assist management at operational level with area managers and department heads in decision-making.
• Contribute to product pricing strategies and value chain analysis activities.
• Support executive management in defining strategic direction and lead the development of business cases for strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or MSc is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including experience within Middle Eastern markets.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, SAP, advanced Excel, and BI tools such as Power BI.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Fluent English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication and stakeholder management skills, capability to work in a fast-paced matrix environment, personal ownership, accountability, and ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
