Role Overview
Our partner company is seeking a Financial Operations Associate based in the United States to support the financial backbone of a fast-expanding technology firm. This position involves managing vital financial operations such as invoicing, payment processing, cash tracking, and reporting, while collaborating with finance leadership to develop scalable systems that accommodate business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounts payable workflows including coordination of vendor payments.
- Create customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable and collections.
- Prepare and process domestic and international wire transfers under finance leadership supervision.
- Act as a main point of contact for vendor payment queries and efficiently resolve related issues.
- Support activities involving cash flow tracking and short-term cash position reporting.
- Maintain precise financial records using accounting software, spreadsheets, and internal platforms.
- Contribute to enhancing finance processes, improving documentation, and strengthening operational controls.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial obligations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Help in evolving scalable financial workflows within a growing organization.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, or financial management tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with a cooperative work style.
- Demonstrated ownership of tasks and consistent delivery of precise outcomes.
- Comfort working in dynamic, fast-paced startup or growth environments.
- Preferably 2 or more years’ experience in accounting, finance operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field is an advantage.
- Experience with startup finance ecosystems, cash management, or treasury functions is beneficial.
- Familiarity with financial platforms like QuickBooks, Ramp, Campfire, or equivalents is desirable.
