About the Role
Join a committed team dedicated to transforming lives at one of over 150 locations throughout the UK. We are seeking a confident female Night Support Worker who is passionate about providing outstanding care. This role involves working 40.25 hours weekly during night shifts from 7:30pm to 7:45am at The Gables, a specialist residential service in Colchester.
Important: Due to the need for supporting female residents, only female candidates are being considered for this position.
About The Gables
Situated within a residential community in Colchester, The Gables offers specialist services for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, including those with challenging behaviors. It provides long-term placements with round-the-clock care, guided by person-centered planning principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver enhanced care through adaptable learning approaches tailored to individual needs
- Provide physical and emotional support, encouragement, and guidance
- Understand and attend to unique needs to offer appropriate assistance
- Support medical and welfare requirements, including reporting as necessary
- Uphold safeguarding procedures ensuring safety and well-being
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for all residents
