Facility Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping in storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other facility areas.
• Handle trash disposal duties efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning supply inventory, requesting replenishment as necessary.
• Carry out other assigned duties related to upkeep and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop on the job.
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role involves some exposure to moderate hazards requiring safety precautions, such as working near machinery or chemicals. Protective gear like masks, gloves, goggles, or shields may be necessary. Physical tasks include being stationary for extended periods, moving outdoors, reaching various heights, and handling equipment weighing at least 50 lbs, alone or with help.
