Job Overview
This role entails skilled journey-level tasks involving construction, maintenance, and repair activities across all facilities, grounds, and equipment within the Prince William County School System. The position operates under the general guidance of the shop foreman.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled maintenance and repair duties on school facilities, grounds, and equipment.
- Carry out construction-related tasks as required by the school system’s infrastructure needs.
- Work collaboratively with the shop foreman, following instructions and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
The candidate must possess journey-level experience relevant to building and facility maintenance or construction. The ability to perform skilled repair and maintenance work independently is necessary. General knowledge of equipment and grounds upkeep is expected.
Additional Information
The position schedule includes night shifts for ten months and day shifts for two months each year.
