Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to join a reputable logistics firm based in Chelmsford. This role offers a chance to manage export shipments comprehensively while fostering robust client relationships within a dynamic freight forwarding setting.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire ocean export shipment process from initiation to completion.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers, delivering consistent and transparent updates.
• Develop and sustain strong connections with key clientele.
• Communicate with customers, customs officials, and internal departments to secure timely receipt of all necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and international agents to obtain precise shipment status updates.
• Ensure clients are continuously informed about shipment progress.
• Compile reports and keep detailed, accurate records.
• Prepare export documentation and process invoicing accurately within required deadlines.

Additional Details

• Position offers a salary range of £30,000 to £35,000 per year.
• Hybrid working arrangement available, combining remote and onsite work.
