Job Overview

This position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at the facility including buildings, yards, and racetrack areas. Responsibilities include general housekeeping, upkeep of kitchens and dining areas, and specialized cleaning after live racing events.

Primary Duties

• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, washing floors, window cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Maintain washrooms, handle garbage and recycling disposal, and sanitize high-touch surfaces including door handles and handrails.
• Clean the paddock area following live races; tasks include washroom cleaning, floor washing, hosing, drain cleaning, stall maintenance, salting, shoveling, and other physically demanding duties including heavy lifting.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant licensing laws, safety protocols, and statutory regulations.
• Support other organizational initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• No prior work experience required.
• Completion of high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and analytical capabilities.
• Ability and willingness to work safely in proximity to horses.
• Possession of a valid AGCO Horseperson Occupational License is mandatory.
