Position Overview
We are currently seeking an Estimator specializing in railway infrastructure for various locations including Bad Kleinen, Berlin, Essen, Freiburg, Halle (Saale), Hanau, or Hannover. Join us to contribute to building a robust rail network for the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate bidding documents as a core task.
- Calculate planning and assembly services specifically for overhead line systems.
- Conduct risk analyses during the bidding process.
- Identify potential additional claims from tender documents and collaborate with construction and project management for cost evaluation.
- Request price quotes from subcontractors during acquisition phases.
- Coordinate tender contents with internal departments and external partners in close cooperation with work preparation.
- Participate actively in contract and price negotiations.
Candidate Profile
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in construction.
- Several years of professional experience as an estimator or in a related role.
- Proficiency in calculation methodologies and systems; solid knowledge of VOB, VOL, HOAI, BGB, and AGB regulations.
- Experience with the iTWO calculation software is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and negotiation capabilities.
- High motivation, resilience, and ability to perform under deadline pressure.
- Willingness to undertake minor travel as required.
