About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimation Manager to join the senior tendering function of a leading construction company. This role involves managing estimation processes for major commercial high-rise towers and large-scale projects, primarily within the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will oversee comprehensive tendering operations, including cost estimation, bid strategy development, and coordination with multiple stakeholders across technical and commercial domains. Managing tender schedules and evaluating bids while ensuring profitable margins, risk assessment, and compliance with financial and tax considerations are integral parts of the role.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably from a US or UK accredited institution.
- Extensive experience working with renowned construction contractors, especially within the GCC region.
- Proven track record estimating and tendering complex projects with values exceeding USD 200 million.
- Expertise in commercial high-rise towers exceeding 50 floors and other significant infrastructure like airports, rail systems, bridges, data centers, luxury hotels and residences, ports, or equivalent large developments.
- Advanced proficiency in construction cost systems (CCS), quantity take-offs, bill of quantities (BOQs), custom RFQ packages, and technical and commercial bid assessments.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate and coordinate efforts with contracts, subcontractors, and various teams for seamless project execution.
- Thorough ownership of the complete tender process from bid preparation to final approval presented to senior management and tender committees.
- Stable professional history showing long-term engagement with notable employers.
Additional Information
Eligible applicants include experienced professionals currently based in Lebanon, the GCC, the broader Middle East region, or internationally educated experts with extensive regional construction experience.
Only candidates who meet the specified scale and experience criteria, especially in prime/main contracting roles within GCC markets, will be shortlisted.
