About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a professional and efficient estates service, maintaining communal spaces within residential blocks.
• Manage waste removal, ensure scheduled bin collections, and promptly clear fly-tipping.
• Carry out gardening and general grounds maintenance activities to keep communal areas tidy.
• Conduct regular inspections of blocks and sites to identify issues and report necessary repairs.
• Assist with clearing void properties to minimize rent loss and prepare homes for re-letting.

Candidate Requirements

• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices and their importance.
• Experience and knowledge of grounds maintenance tasks and safe use of related equipment.
• Familiarity with Gloucester's local area is advantageous due to multi-site work across the city.
• Proficient in handling and maintaining petrol-powered machinery.
• Experience driving larger vehicles involved in service operations.
• Strong IT capabilities for accurate recording of site visits and void clearances.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Possession of a valid UK driving license is essential.
