Job Overview
An esteemed full-service law firm in Ireland, highly ranked as Tier 1 by Legal 500, is seeking a qualified Employment Solicitor to join their Employment Law Group in Dublin. The team serves major employers in Ireland, advising on a comprehensive spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and advising on employment contracts, workplace policies, and handling HR consultations and workplace investigations
- Handling contentious employment disputes before the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court, and civil courts, including advocacy roles for experienced solicitors
- Advising on whistleblowing cases, restrictive covenants, and team movement scenarios
- Providing counsel on restructuring processes, redundancy programmes, and Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) regulations
- Managing employment-related aspects of corporate transactions
- Developing and maintaining client relationships along with contributing to business growth activities
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with over two years post-qualification experience (PQE) in Ireland or England & Wales
- Proven expertise in both contentious and advisory employment law matters
- Strong commercial insight coupled with a keen interest in business development
- Capability to juggle multiple client accounts and engagements simultaneously
