Employee Relations Program Administrator

About the Role

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is inviting applications for the position of Employee Relations Program Administrator within the Human Resources department. Reporting directly to the Employee Relations Director, this role provides both strategic and operational leadership to enhance the functions of the Employee Relations Office. The position involves managing various programs and company-wide initiatives, developing and coordinating workshops and trainings, and ensuring seamless customer service operations. The role supports the creation of strategic goals and operational strategies while maintaining compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS), Nevada Administrative Code (NAC), university policies, and state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage program operations and special projects within the Employee Relations Office.
• Design and implement educational outreach efforts and coordinate office workshops and training sessions.
• Provide operational updates and strategic guidance to the Employee Relations Director and team as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between the Employee Relations Office and stakeholders across UNLV and the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE), fostering a cooperative workplace environment.
• Contribute significantly to the department’s planning, operational strategies, and process improvement initiatives.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, recognized by the US Department of Education or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), required prior to employment.
• 1-3 years of professional experience required; 3-5 years preferred in related roles.

Salary and Benefits

The annual salary range is $50,000 to $58,000, commensurate with experience and market standards. Benefits include:
