Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Purchase Engineer to source and procure materials and services while ensuring adherence to company policies. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory, monitoring market trends, and maintaining supplier relationships to optimize cost-efficiency and project execution quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase materials and services in compliance with organizational procedures and policies.
- Negotiate prices, contract terms, and agreements with vendors and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and enhance supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track orders systematically.
- Monitor stock quantities and initiate reorders as necessary.
- Analyze market trends to recommend cost-saving purchasing strategies.
- Oversee supply chain activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Ensure all procurement activities conform to applicable laws and regulations.
- Foster and sustain productive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Resolve any issues concerning orders and delivery schedules promptly.
- Generate reports and track purchasing activities regularly.
- Identify reputable vendors for projects and gather project team feedback to assess vendor quality.
- Prepare and submit required insurance policies related to procurement.

- Ability to analyze market trends to select cost-effective suppliers.
- Strong grasp of procurement strategies and processes.
- Understanding of import/export regulations and related procedures.
- Proficiency in supplier management and contract negotiation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Meticulous with documentation and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Skilled with MS Office and related software tools.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
Eligibility and Qualifications
- B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Telecommunication Engineering.
- Experience in the solar energy sector is preferred.
- Between 1 to 6 years of professional experience in relevant roles.
- Male candidates only.
- Immediate joiners are required.
Compensation
The monthly salary for this position ranges between INR 20,000 to INR 50,000.
