Position Summary
This role centers on planning, delivering, testing, and supporting electrical, fire and security, and automation systems. The engineer will help ensure systems operate reliably, meet the required standards, and continue to perform well through installation support, commissioning, fault-finding, and technical enhancements. Saudi nationals are encouraged to apply.
Main Responsibilities
- Create engineering designs and supervise the installation of electrical systems, fire alarms, fire suppression, access control, intrusion detection, and automation solutions for new builds, upgrades, and expansion works.
- Prepare and keep current detailed drawings, schematics, technical specifications, and related records that support installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance.
- Work closely with project, operations, commissioning, and facility teams to make sure electrical, fire protection, security, and automation systems are properly integrated.
- Track system performance, detect technical problems, and diagnose faults across electrical, fire protection, security, and automation equipment.
- Verify that all relevant systems comply with safety codes, engineering standards, regulatory rules, and internal procedures.
- Follow all health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements to support a safe and efficient workplace.
- Keep updated on developments in electrical engineering, fire protection, security technologies, automation systems, and current industry practices.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally with exposure to fire protection, security systems, automation, or industrial/building electrical systems.
- Must be registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems, fire alarms, fire suppression, access control, intrusion detection, and automation principles.
- Understanding of PLCs, building automation systems, industrial communication networks, electrical distribution, and control systems.
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Capability to carry out engineering calculations such as load estimation, voltage drop analysis, and equipment sizing.
- Working knowledge of engineering tools such as AutoCAD.
- Good communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
Eligibility
Applicants should be qualified electrical or mechanical engineering graduates with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is mandatory. Saudi nationals are especially encouraged to apply.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves electrical engineering work across new projects, system upgrades, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of electrical, fire, security, and automation systems.
