Electrical Engineer - Commercial and Industrial Electrical Systems

About the Role

We are looking to hire a skilled Electrical Engineer with substantial expertise in designing electrical systems tailored for industrial, commercial, residential, and hospital environments. The key focus areas include designing power distribution schemes, selecting appropriate transformers, DG sets, and UPS systems, as well as calculating cable and cable tray sizes. The role also involves illumination design, preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), and creating single line diagrams (SLD).

Responsibilities

• Design electrical distribution systems for a variety of building types including industrial and commercial projects.
• Size and specify critical components such as transformers, DG sets, and UPS to meet project requirements.
• Calculate cable sizes and design cable tray layouts ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
• Create illumination designs and illumination calculation layouts for efficient lighting systems.
• Prepare detailed BOQ and single line diagrams for project documentation and execution.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficient with AutoCAD for electrical drawing preparation.
• Experienced in using DIALux software for lighting design.
• Competent in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word, for documentation and reporting.
• Adept at interpreting and working with various layout plans.
• Knowledgeable in preparing technical specifications and tenders.
• Capable of managing vendor documentation and coordinating with suppliers effectively.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech or B.E.) and demonstrate relevant industry experience.
