About the Role

Join Univar Solutions' team as a Level 3 HGV driver, focusing on Class 1 articulated and Class 2 vehicles with Low Pressure Discharge deliveries. Be part of delivering vital chemicals and ingredients that contribute to our communities' health, safety, and wellbeing. Our modern fleet, based in Coventry, includes fully automatic DAF trucks equipped with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and advanced safety features. Drivers receive dedicated vehicles but may need to operate other trucks occasionally. We offer a competitive salary package and a variety of benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Professional interaction with customers at delivery sites, ensuring an excellent service experience
• Safe transport and delivery of products across the Univar Solutions distribution network
• Strict adherence to all safety regulations, company procedures, and legal requirements
• Collecting and prioritising customer feedback and escalating concerns to internal teams
• Executing specialist pump-over deliveries, pumping products into customer tanks using high-spec vehicles (Category C roles)

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Experienced and professional HGV drivers committed to high service and safety standards
• Residency and work eligibility in the UK with appropriate documentation
• Hold ADR license and Driver CPC qualification; training options available for those lacking these certifications
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures
• Comfortable using iPhones and mobile apps for job-related tasks
• Motivated to build a career with opportunities for progression within the company
