About the Role

Join World Courier's dedicated team in Dublin as a Driver, where you will play a critical role in the timely and safe transportation of shipments, including medical samples and healthcare products. This position entails working on a rotational shift basis throughout the week, including weekends, providing vital services that contribute directly to improving health outcomes globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out collections and deliveries according to operational plans and customer expectations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and courtesy during all interactions with clients and consignees.
• Ensure accuracy in shipment verification and completion of necessary documentation, including obtaining proofs of delivery.
• Transport materials safely in compliance with route plans, temperature control specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Inform support teams promptly about delivery statuses, any delays, and exceptions encountered during transport.
• Resolve issues related to delivery or collection efficiently with sound judgement.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, loading, and unloading to maintain shipment integrity.
• Perform duties related to airport handling for imports and exports as needed.
• Monitor and report on vehicle condition, ensuring cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Support additional operational tasks during quieter periods and assist with overtime during demanding times.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in driving, courier services, logistics, or delivery roles is essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Meticulous attention to documentation and shipment accuracy.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently.
• Proactive mindset to anticipate and manage challenges effectively.
• Commitment to safe driving and adherence to transportation laws.
• Availability to work rotating shifts including weekdays, weekends, and potential overtime.

Compensation and Work Schedule

The annual salary for this position is €33,907.56. The shift pattern includes five working days per week with rotating shifts between 06:30 and 22:00 from Monday to Friday, along with rotational weekend duties. Rotational shifts are scheduled weekly and published monthly.
