Job Location and Type

This full-time role is based at our workshop in Whitby, a setting that fosters collaboration with leading architects and interior designers on some of the UK’s most exclusive residential projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create detailed and precise technical drawings using SolidWorks software.
• Collaborate with various trades to ensure smooth coordination and integration.
• Manage the ordering and tracking of material samples and finishes.
• Perform site surveys with gridline techniques and oversee initial templating processes.
• Follow design schedules attentively and communicate any deviations to maintain accurate cost control.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses over 5 years of draughting experience specifically in super-prime residential joinery or fine furniture sectors.
• Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years proficiency with SolidWorks.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office suite applications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of materials such as timber, veneer, glass, metal, upholstery, and specialty finishes.
• Capable of preparing drawings suitable for approvals, manufacturing, and installation stages.
• Confident in carrying out precise measured surveys and effectively communicating with contractors and design managers.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills paired with high self-motivation, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
