About S-RM and the Role

S-RM is a global intelligence and cybersecurity consultancy established in 2005, assisting governments, corporations, and individuals with complex challenges. The Corporate Intelligence division employs advanced research and intelligence methods to understand global business environments, supporting clients in compliance due diligence, deal advisory, disputes and investigations, and strategic intelligence across multiple offices, including Singapore.

The Disputes & Investigations team is expanding and seeks a Junior Case Manager based in Singapore to transition a technically skilled investigator into client and case management. This role involves delivering quality investigative results using open source research, human intelligence, and comprehensive analysis, while collaborating closely with colleagues and managing relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting research, analyzing data, and gathering intelligence for complex disputes and investigation projects.
  • Supporting investigations that focus on human intelligence and source development.
  • Enhancing research and intelligence capabilities to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Contributing to project scoping, planning, and management activities.
  • Leading or assisting case management tasks, including reviewing and refining written deliverables.
  • Preparing proposals for new business opportunities.
  • Managing relationships with external contacts such as subcontractors and sources, ensuring effective delegation and tasking.
  • Training junior and senior analysts on investigative techniques and methodologies.
  • Presenting investigative findings to internal teams, senior management, and clients.

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience in disputes and investigations or related fields such as corporate intelligence, investigative journalism, law enforcement, or forensic accounting.
  • Proven investigative and analytical abilities handling complex disputes, litigation support, or international asset tracing.
  • Strong research skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and relationship building.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively within global, collaborative teams.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with lateral thinking capabilities.
  • Capability to perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for producing clear, detailed reports for sophisticated audiences.

Other Information

The position is based in Singapore, and candidates must have the legal right to work there from the start date.
