Director of Operations

About the Role

Tacodeli is seeking a proactive Director of Operations to oversee and nurture our restaurant locations with dedication, energy, and a genuine love for excellent food. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role focuses on elevating guest experiences, optimizing restaurant performance, and fostering a culture that embodies the unique spirit of Austin.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to District Managers, Culinary, and restaurant managers to ensure outstanding hospitality and consistent food quality.
• Drive operational excellence across all restaurant sites.
• Translate strategic directives into actionable plans and hold teams accountable for outcomes such as labor costs, food costs, and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and strengthen teams by cultivating leadership and attracting talented individuals.
• Collaborate closely with Finance and other departments to enhance performance and streamline processes.
• Spend regular time onsite in restaurants to observe service, coach staff, and uphold high operational standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience managing multiple restaurant units.
• Strong abilities in people leadership and coaching.
• Deep understanding of restaurant operations and financial management.
• A practical, team-oriented leadership approach.
• A passion for hospitality, food, and tacos.
