The company operates 46 Pizza Hut locations across Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, focusing on cultivating a high-performance culture driven by operational excellence, leadership growth, accountability, and ongoing improvement. It is an expanding organization where senior leaders have significant influence over business strategy and execution.

Role Overview

As the top operations executive reporting directly to the President, the Director of Operations translates company strategies into actionable plans and oversees their execution across all markets. This highly visible position balances strategic planning with active field leadership, dedicating around 75% of the time to onsite restaurant visits to coach and enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operational management of all 46 restaurant units across multiple markets.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, labor and food cost management, and maintain operational consistency.
• Mentor and develop Area Coaches and Restaurant General Managers, building a strong leadership pipeline.
• Conduct routine restaurant visits, operational reviews and follow-ups to ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Analyze financial and operational reports to uncover opportunities for performance enhancements.
• Promote customer satisfaction through excellent execution and strong leadership at restaurant level.
• Encourage a culture of accountability, ownership, coaching, and continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven leadership in managing multi-unit restaurant operations, ideally in quick-service or fast casual settings, with responsibility for sales, profitability, and operational results across various markets.
• Strong experience in leadership development and coaching, demonstrated by successful recruitment, mentoring, and accountability of Area Directors/Coaches and General Managers.
• Expertise in P&L management and operational excellence, including labor, food costs, staffing, audits, food safety, and consistency in execution to elevate restaurant performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within QSR or pizza franchise environments, preferably with Pizza Hut or similar brands, with solid knowledge of franchise operations and brand standards adherence.
• Skill in data-driven decision making, utilizing KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics to identify patterns, improve efficiency, and guide strategic initiatives.
• Ability to lead organizational change, implement operational improvements, and nurture a high-performance culture focused on accountability, leadership growth, and continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a starting base salary of $125,000 or higher, supplemented by performance bonuses, car and phone allowances, benefits package, and paid time off.
