Role overview
This leadership position is accountable for the running, configuration, governance, and uninterrupted availability of asset- and park-related applications across the Qiddiya portfolio. The scope covers Vista and VGS ticketing and point-of-sale platforms, Maximo, ERD/Yardi, and other applications used across parks and complex venues. The job is focused on keeping systems available, data reliable, revenue reporting accurate, and operations aligned with safety, leasing, and PCI DSS obligations.
The role also supports ticketing, guest-facing, maintenance, leasing, and QHSE systems to protect the visitor experience, improve asset reliability, provide lifecycle visibility, and ensure smooth integration across parks, sports, entertainment, and complex venues.
Key responsibilities
- Run the daily operations of Vista and VGS ticketing, admissions, and point-of-sale platforms across Qiddiya entertainment venues.
- Control product setup, pricing, capacity, promotions, and season-pass settings through a disciplined change-management process.
- Ensure seamless connectivity between ticketing, POS, access control, CRM, payment gateways, and ERP platforms.
- Coordinate daily ticketing and POS revenue reconciliation with the Finance team.
- Maintain compliance with PCI DSS requirements for payment handling and cardholder data protection.
- Lead readiness for peak days, major events, and degraded operations, including load testing and command-center support.
- Oversee Maximo and ERD/Yardi environments that support maintenance and leasing activities.
- Check work orders, preventive maintenance plans, asset structures, tenant records, and lease transactions for accuracy.
- Keep master data for assets, locations, tenants, and contracts standardized and up to date.
- Manage release schedules and planned outage windows to reduce disruption to operations.
- Supervise the application landscape for parks and complex venues, including F&B and retail POS, access control, RFID/cashless solutions, lockers, virtual queuing, ride operations, and guest mobile apps.
- Maintain the application portfolio, support framework, and venue-level service commitments.
- Work with Park Operations on major incidents and event-day support.
- Ensure applications are ready for seasonal operations, new attractions, and venue launches through onboarding, integration testing, and hypercare.
- Keep QHSE checklists, incident logs, and corrective-action records current within the applications.
- Prepare audit-ready documentation such as SOPs, control evidence, and operational records.
- Track statutory inspections, certifications, renewals, and compliance dashboards.
- Partner with Safety and Engineering teams to improve workflows and compliance processes.
- Monitor KPI and dashboard performance for downtime, maintenance backlog, lease results, revenue reconciliation, and SLA adherence.
- Oversee ERD revenue reconciliation with Finance and resolve any variances.
- Maintain governance controls for access, change management, and data quality.
- Keep operational documents, knowledge articles, and support procedures current.
- Manage vendor support queues and prioritize issues according to business criticality.
- Provide user training and operational guidance for inspections, work orders, lease amendments, and renewals.
- Plan and run UAT, obtain approvals, and confirm release readiness.
- Monitor vendor SLAs, escalation routes, and handovers between support teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in asset, park, or ticketing application operations.
- ITIL certification or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Hands-on experience with Maximo and ERD/Yardi.
- Hands-on experience with Vista and VGS ticketing and POS platforms.
- Good understanding of integrations involving ticketing, access control, CRM, ERP, and payment systems.
- Working knowledge of PCI DSS, revenue reconciliation, and audit compliance.
- Experience handling major incidents, 24/7 operations, and event readiness.
- Experience with QHSE processes, vendor coordination, and SLA governance.
- Background in entertainment, theme parks, or real estate is preferred.
