About Bayer FarmRise One
Bayer FarmRise One is a digital agriculture platform developed by Bayer that aims to enhance farm productivity, profitability, and sustainability through technology-based advisories and digital services. The platform collaborates with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS) to empower farmers.
Role Overview
We are recruiting for the positions of Digital Lead and Senior Digital Lead to spearhead digital agricultural initiatives in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. These roles focus on growing engagement with farmers and partner organizations.
Location & Experience
- Digital Lead: Based in Tanjore and Thoothukudi (Tamil Nadu), Idukki and Thrissur (Kerala) with 1–2 years of experience.
- Senior Digital Lead: Based in Kerala with 3–4 years of experience.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Agriculture.
- Applicants must have prior industry knowledge, especially in agri-inputs, pesticides, rural business, FPOs, PACS, or agricultural sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and onboard FPOs and PACS to the platform.
- Promote digital agricultural products and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with farmers and associated organizations.
- Achieve specified business and farmer engagement goals.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in the pesticide industry is mandatory; freshers are not eligible.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Proficiency in managing relationships with farmers.
- Understanding of digital agriculture technologies and tools.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Capability and willingness to travel extensively.
- Ownership of a two-wheeler vehicle is required for work.
